Chanel Perfume and Flowers
My love of interior design and fashion is always reflected in my work. I have used my Chanel Noir perfume in previous paintings. I enjoyed it in this still life with my pink hydrangeas from my garden, and my new Chanel Coffee table book. This painting is 16 x 16" square, acrylic on archival wrapped canvas. Available to purchase through the daily paintworks gallery and my ETSY shop.

Pink Hydrangeas
I found these potted pink hydrangeas this week and was surprised to see them this time of year so I had to buy them and paint them, I did two studies them the final painting, My husband doesn't give out compliments about my paintings unless he really means it, which I love, I don't need his approval but knowing he likes it is an added bonus!! still struggling with photographing my work, it just doesn't do anyone's art true justice no matter how great the photography is.

Its our imperfections that make us pretty
I painted these beautiful multicolored roses this weekend and I don't know why I keep challenging myself with such a difficult flower to paint, I wrote on my instagram and facebook posts that maybe someday I will master them, but in the meantime it is our differences that make us pretty, the imperfections in art and life are truth. Beauty is truth. Im glad I don't have many readers yet, as both my blogging and painting are very imperfect!!
